N+P Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Hood as Chief Financial Officer. Mary’s addition to the team will aid the Company’s ambitious growth strategy to develop alternative fuel plants as well as continuing our sorting activities and facilitate the global energy transition, following the partnership with Mercuria Energy Trading in 2021.
Mary has a strong track record of working alongside CEOs, Executive and operational leads to enable and deliver rapid growth, together with building finance functions that help maximise performance and give confidence to investors and management. She also brings additional waste, recycling and energy experience to the N+P team, most recently having spent three years as Finance Director for the Resources and Energy division of Biffa, a leading UK waste management company.
She started her finance career with Deloitte-London in their Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities group, before holding various Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer roles in high-growth small & mid-cap listed Oil & Gas businesses. Mary is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds an MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge.
