During the Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition, the largest alternative fuels conference in the world, N+P was rewarded “Global Alternative Fuels Supplying Company of the Year” for the third consecutive year!
Every year Global Cemfuels rewards companies in several categories based on votes from the cement industry. This year’s votes came from more than 60 countries in the world, which underlines the international scale of the Global Cemfuels Conference. N+P, with over 25 years of experience in the field of the production and supply of alternative fuels, was nominated together with other major players active in this field. After being rewarded as “Global Alternative Fuels Supplying Company of the Year” in 2015 and 2016, N+P is very proud that the market keeps appreciating N+P as leading alternative fuels company and that therefore N+P received this prestigious award again!
The award was rewarded during the 11th Global CemFuels event in Barcelona which presented the best alternative fuels projects and equipment from the cement industry in Europe and from around the world. Delegates from more than 40 countries attended this conference to learn from experts how to use or increase their use of alternative fuels.
N+P, presented their Subcoal®, concept during this conference. Subcoal®, can be used on cement kilns to substitute fossil fuels and has logistic advantages in terms of handling and dosing as well. At the Subcoal® plant in the Netherlands (Delfzijl), 80,000 tons of Subcoal®, are produced every year. Because of the increasing demand for Subcoal®, N+P will open a second plant in the UK (Teesport, Middlesbrough).
