About the job
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will have a wide range of responsibilities at N+P Group’s plant in Crayford. Overall, you will be responsible for planning, organising and undertaking corrective and reactive work and deliver improvement projects leading to increased plant reliability and cost reduction.
In specific, your tasks will be the following:
- Perform Planned Maintenance inspections per site maintenance plans, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Plan and execute corrective/reactive work, minimizing downtime while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
- Modify and improve plant/equipment to enhance availability and performance, meeting production demands.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments to uphold safe working practices and reduce risk.
- Manage stock control, shift paperwork, condition reports, and documentation per the maintenance strategy.
- Assess malfunctioning equipment, advising management to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with engineering projects, new installations, and refurbishments.
- Maintain and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in problem-solving workshops, identifying root causes and implementing improvements.
- Attend daily operational review meetings, providing updates on maintenance compliance and defect resolution.
What do we expect from you?

You have experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
- You have a NVQ Level 3 in Electro-technical Installations or equivalent discipline or City & Guild 2357-3 (Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology

You have knowledge of CMMS systems, purpose and functionality

You have a good understanding of a proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring
- You are numerate and literate with the ability to produce basic reports and management data as required

What we offer you
- Salary around 52k per annum, depending on your experience;
- Permanent employment contract;
- Fulltime, 4on 4off (day)shift pattern (include call outs for night shift);
- 1,5x pay for overtime;
